Kevin Jeffs Personal Best With just one week of recovery after competing in the Mersey Roads 24hour event, Kevin Jeffs added six miles to his 12 hour personal best with a total of 236.8 miles in the Elmet CRC event near York on Sunday August 7th. Kevin finshed 15th of 43 riders in the event, which was won by Joel Wainman of Team Swift with 275.44miles. Kevin will be targetting the event with fresher legs next year, which will also be the 2012 National Championship.
Echelon-Cycles VTTA 10 mile time trial Four ladies from Coventry Cycling Club started their time trial season on Saturday afternoon (2 April 2011) at the Echelon-Cycles VTTA 10 mile time trial on the K10/10F course. The afternoon was bright and breezy, with a tail wind for the first leg, but the finish stretch was a struggle into the strong head-wind. The fastest CCC’s lady was Junior, Lauren Humphreys who posted a personal best time of 27.37, followed by Rita Humphreys 27.41, | ||
